Take clear photos or video, and note the date and exact location of each concern.

Use the builder’s required process. Save every email, upload receipt, and confirmation number.

Take a slow walk through every room
Use this list to spot things worth documenting. Your builder’s warranty will determine what is covered.
Keep each request clear and specific
Submit one problem at a time so it is easier for the builder to review and track.
- Exact room or exterior location
- What you observed and when it started
- Clear photo or short video
- How it affects normal use or safety
- Submission date and confirmation number
Example issue description“Primary bathroom — water appears below the right sink after normal use. First noticed May 3. Photo and 20-second video attached. Please inspect the supply and drain connections.”
